GROW Elect Update
Valdivia Looks Strong in San Bernardino
San Bernardino City Councilman John Valdivia (Pictured Above), a rising star for Republicans in the Inland Empire, recently hosted his Annual Fundraising Event featuring California Republican Party Chairman Jim Brulte and including GROW Elect President Ruben Barrales. Valdivia’s event attracted a large turnout and helped the Councilman build an imposing six-figure campaign chest as he gears up for 2018. We are looking forward to a bright future for the Councilman, a dedicated reformer in city government.
Barrales Stumps in Inland Empire
GROW Elect President Ruben Barrales (Pictured Above) brought our organization’s message of free markets, opportunity and empowerment to the Inland Empire in a recent tour of the region. Barrales spoke to the Victor Valley Republican Club which is led by GROW Elect alumnus and former Hesperia Councilman Eric Schmidt. In Victorille, Barrales met with Mayor Gloria Garcia, one of GROW’s elected officials. He also spoke to the Lincoln Club of Riverside County, where GROW’s Eugene Montanez, a Corona City Councilman, and Jaime Hurtado, a leading candidate for the Riverside County Board of Supervisors, were in attendance. Ruben is a frequent speaker before Republican groups as well as various Latino organizations as he works to expand the base of the GOP in California.
