Mayors of Grow Elect

GROW Elect has helped elect over 90 Latino Republicans to public offices across the state of California. A number of those elected officials have received the honor and responsibility of becoming Mayor of their local city, whether elected outright directly by the voters or chosen by their city council colleagues. Many of these individuals are the first Latino Mayor in the history of their city.

GROW Elect members who are serving as Mayor of their city include Mayor Suzanne Fuentes of El Segundo, Mayor Carlos Olvera of Dana Point, Mayor Lupe Ramos Watson of Indio, Mayor Rudy Mendoza of Woodlake, Mayor Harry Ramos of Murrieta, Mayor Jose Esteves of Milpitas, Mayor Sylvia Munoz Schnopp of Port Hueneme, Mayor Eugene Montanez of Corona, Mayor Violeta Lewis of La Punte, and Hollister Mayor Ignacio Velazquez – the first directly elected Mayor of his city.

We want to take this opportunity to acknowledge these elected Republican leaders for their achievement, their commitment, and their service to their communities. Each of them is making an important impact in their city.
