GROW Elect Endorses Dante Acosta for Assembly

GROW Elect’s Board of Directors has voted unanimously to endorse Santa Clarita Mayor Pro Tem Dante Acosta’s bid for California’s open 38th Assembly District. The organization, dedicated to electing qualified Latino Republicans to public office in the Golden State, is also making the maximum contribution to Acosta’s campaign committee.

“Dante Acosta is a proven conservative Republican leader. He comes from a successful background in finance and he understands the importance of passing regulatory and tax policies that allow California’s businesses to survive and grow. He is committed to opposing efforts to raise income and sales taxes or to change Proposition 13 to make it easier to raise property taxes,” declared GROW Elect President Ruben Barrales.

“As the Mayor Pro Tem of Santa Clarita, Dante has worked hard to improve economic development, public safety, as well as senior and youth issues. These are his priorities as the next Assemblyman from the 38th District. Dante is a formidable candidate who will make an outstanding Member of the Assembly. GROW Elect is excited by Dante Acosta’s candidacy and will do whatever we can to help get him elected,” concluded Barrales.

Acosta has also been endorsed by 38th District Assemblyman Scott Wilk, Congressman Steve Knight, State Senator Sharon Runner, State Board of Equalization Member George Runner, Assemblyman Tom Lackey, Assemblyman Rocky Chavez, Assemblyman Bill Brough and numerous local elected leaders in the district.
