GROW ELECT UPDATE

HOUSE MAJORITY LEADER KEVIN McCARTHY BUILDS GOP & ADVANCES GROW ELECT

One of the earliest and strongest supporters of GROW Elect is U.S. House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy of Bakersfield. Congressman McCarthy not only works tirelessly on the national level to keep and strengthen the Republican Majority in Congress, he aggressively promotes GOP candidates and party rebuilding in California.

The Majority Leader will be the Guest of Honor at a major GROW Elect fundraiser this Fall and has committed his time, money and personal endorsement to help GROW Elect as it also works to rebuild, rebrand and expand the Republican Party to all neighborhoods in California. We are deeply grateful for Congressman McCarthy’s support, and his visionary and energetic leadership.

GROW LAUNCHES SPECIAL PUSH IN RIVERSIDE COUNTY

GROW has supported the successful election of over 60 Latino Republicans to office across the entire State of California and is helping dozens more for this November’s elections. The Inland Empire is a targeted region for our efforts and GROW is making a special effort in that politically competitive area.

GROW Member and Indio City Councilwoman Lupe Ramos Watson has helped encourage several candidates to seek local office in Riverside County and is working closely with GROW Team Member Luis Alvarado to provide advice, support and assistance to this exciting crop of new candidates. GROW Elect is on offense and committed to helping candidates win elections in this crucial region for the Republican Party.

GOP COUNTY PARTIES BACK GROW CANDIDATES IN KEY RACES

County GOP organizations are making endorsements in key local races and we’re glad to report that GROW Elect candidates in a number of important contests are earning their support. The Orange County Republican Party endorsed Lee Ramos for Costa Mesa City Council in a tough and pivotal race that will determine control of the council. Lee’s campaign is a priority for GROW Elect as he is striving to be the first Latino elected to the Costa Mesa City Council.

The San Diego County Republican Party also has issued endorsements for a number of GROW candidates and is backing efforts to elect political reformers to some local jurisdictions that have been buffeted by corruption and mismanagement. We look forward to working closely with county parties to help elect Republican candidates across the state.
